Looking at the twigs barring the opening, I could only think of Gandalf. All you Lord of the Rings fans, you know what I mean.

It’s looks like a secret entrance well guarded, yes! This reminds me so much of the times I would take my bike out through the forest (almost every day) and snap shots of trees. I found so much life in among the trees!
This is so true! You have the trees, which are constantly changing – what grows on them, at their feet, the little woodland creatures. Have you ever been to Gatineau Park in Quebec? 360 square km of conservation park. Beautiful. We try to visit when we’re in Ottawa.
Hey Elen, no never been to Quebec. Have been around Toronto and Vancouver (the latter being beautiful).
If you are planning to come out of the desert, put it on your list. It’s just across the border in Hull, QC from the parliament buildings in Ottawa.
