I call ’em table tulips.

A lot of cut tulips get purchased in the month of April in my neck of Burbville. Mainly by me. I wander far and wide searching for potted daffs and table tulips.

This is the lost week.

The week after Easter weekend, which is a four-day weekend here — Good Friday through Easter Monday. It throws me right off, that Easter Monday.

Not to mention the Cadbury Mini Egg induced coma I’ve been in since Tuesday. They are my Easter guilty pleasure. Now, I have to return to drinking spinach smoothies.

The one great thing about the four-day weekend was that I drew a line in the sand between me and the intertoobs. The one exception being Monday night’s Master Chef Canada when I tweeted my little home-cook-loving heart out. It was the week before finale week. It was intense.

Little green things are beginning to sprout up everywhere, and I’m starting to experience photosynthesis.

Yeah. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
