Today, when my fingers weren’t clicking across the keyboard, I took this…

Those snow-burdened winter greens.
And this…

The little pine cones I’ve had for years. The XXL cones followed me home this year.
And this…

Shiny and a little futuristic looking here. The Jetsons do Christmas.

Which days ago looked like this…

The martini shot…

That’s a wrap.
Holy December, Batman!

The first snow of the season is always a delight.
The one exception would be if you’re getting that Nor’easter that slaps the East Coast of the United States and Atlantic Canada. ‘Nuff said.
Here.
Today.
The last day of November.
On the Hump of Wednesday.
We’re getting that first dreamy snowfall.

This is a bundle of winter greens awaiting assembly with giant pine cones and stems of pretty silver balls into a fat, red pot by the front door. Can’t wait.

The Nearly Wild Rose in the back garden is nearly gone.

Last of the pumpkins sitting by the compost. Squatter’s rights.

The Pink Fairy Roses along the drive. They did really well their first year. The color!

Part of the new frontscape under snow. I like it!
And a good Hump Day to you all.
Thus endeth NaBloPoMo, 30 days of blogging in November!

One of the things that has become clear about my photography is that I gravitate to small subjects. I feel the pull.
This…

Gatineau Parkway Moss
And this…

Mackenzie King Estate Moss in Gatineau Park
And this…

Mackenzie King Estate Hydrangea
This…

More moss discovery on the Mackenzie King Estate
And, and…

Menu for the Canal Ritz on the Rideau Canal, Ottawa. I never miss an opportunity to eat here. The food is great, and the view at night is verra fine.
Although, I take the broader scape, it doesn’t give me the same rush. Maybe it’s me. I don’t think my skills do the larger focus justice.
