Today,
for better or for worse,
in sickness and in health,
’til 14 days do us part,
I’m starting 14 days of fast drafting, à la Candace Havens. And if you’ve never heard her speak, run — don’t walk — to the nearest conference where she is giving a keynote or workshop.
For the next 14 days, I’ll be dropping the internal editor, nixing the research, turning off the left brain, and writing as fast as I can. The goal is 20 pages a day.
I’m starting with the ending.
As Kristen Lamb would say…
Suck it up, Buttercup!
I’ll let you know tomorrow how today went.
Feel free to cheer me on.
Elen
Where on earth did you find that frog? He’s wonderful. And I love your new header. I know you’ll kick ass and take names on that challenge.

That frog is an iStock image. Isn’t it great? I’ve got a few frogs. Yes, I love the new header, too. Thanks. It’s the upper slice of a forest image. It gets broodier further down. Thanks for cheering me on, Keziah! I need all the cheerleading I can get.
