It rained in December the night we went down to the Distillery District to see a live production of A Christmas Carol at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. This is the second time we’ve seen this Soulpepper production, and it is by far our favorite adaptation. Since the Toronto Christmas Market was also going on that evening, we needed to arrive early. Parking, people.
So. There was time to get in some clicks in the rain. This bike was just hanging. Hanging in the rain.
Me, too.
In other news ~
Cough–Cough.
All Mr. G, honey heard me say in the month of December was — What day is this?
December blew in and blew out. It was a whirlwind of tidying up some year-end projects, Advent, Santa and a few wily reindeer, and flour, eggs, and butter. The stand-mixer is now in revolt. All I get is a beep and a wisecrack every time I cross the kitchen. She’s packing some ‘tude.
I might’ve sneaked off with the G-Man to see Interstellar, and Snow Cake at Cinechats, and Into the Woods. I loved each and every one of these movies. I stayed to the last credit for Into the Woods. Next up: The Imitation Game. Because, well… Benedict Cumberbatch.
Blog posts went unwritten.
Blogs went unread.
Twitter was left undisturbed.
Instagram got scrolled because — hey — photography.
It was a nice reset or recess or whatever.
Wishing you all a happy and adventurous 2015! I look forward to your posts, your tweets, your instas, your comments.
We resume our regularly scheduled program.
Wait.
What day is this?
TGIF, baby.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

Oh, how lovely. You’re going to get some weather today, I’m afraid. Come back soon to TO. We’ll do a meetup! The “cough-cough” is a oopsies-blogger-truant-for-a-month-blush-blush cough. 😀 But thank you! Safe journey home on Sunday. Cheers!
