Where was I?
Forgive me bloggers for I have sinned. It’s been 21 days since my last blog…
I might not be spending enough time socializing with the Catholics.
Moving right along.
The roadmance was a blast.
But it’s good to be back.
This is a teaser for Monday’s post.
Before that, may I just say that I pleaded with the garden to not do anything interesting until my return.
Did it listen?
No. It did not.
Several storms moved through in our absence, followed by buckets of sunshine.
It grew. And it grew. And it grew.
And it bloomed.
It was burbville wild by the time we pulled into the driveway.
Okay. Some things drowned, too.
But I’m Little Miss Sunshine today.
Welcome to all you new followers. Thanks for visiting while I was away.
Teaser ~
I practiced landscape shots. I might’ve been in cloud-mode.

How did I do?
New Brunswick is our only official bilingual province, but they lead with French.
This is what New Brunswickians and Quebecers most often heard from me for eight days…
Je ne parle pas français. Parlez-vous anglais?
To which I most often heard…
“Leetle beet.”
[thumb and index finger pressed together]
I never grew tired of hearing the French.
Fortunately, G-Man is much more facile with the language than I am, or I might still be in Quebec checking out.
I need to brush up on my conversational French. It’s been a while.
That is all.
TGIF.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

I wondered where you been 😉. Leetle beet ! Looks/sounds like one fine vacation. Love clouds of all sorts (but clouds, not a full-on gray sky) and looking forward to more!

Glad you enjoyed Fundy and its surroundings. Having spent the last 14 years in the maritimes, we know it well. Hopefully the sun came out for you. It tends to hide in Fundy or at least for us!

We got sun lucky for most of the trip across Quebec and New Brunswick. We were trippin’.

Hahaha! Sign language does wonders when trying to speak French. It’s like charades on steroids but you have to shout a little louder. teehee
Nice to have you back 🙂

Glad you are back, I missed you! I’m on my way to N.S. in one month. It’s my homeland. I’m a whole lot of English but am bilingual and always got the French speaking jobs cause I didn’t use the local slang of half french/half english. ” Je veux void des bathing suit” etc… and the likes.

I love Nova Scotia. We trained there and rented a car for our tour that year. It was a delight. LOL on the Frenglish. We should all be bilingual. I’m a displaced Yank. My parlez-vous anglais is a leetle beet midwestern. 😀
