You know what?
It’s just a rush and crush week.
Company’s comin’.
Somebody has a birthday this weekend.
No. Not me.
So.
Let’s go with another six things you don’t know about me, unless you’re related. And if you’re related, I hope you’re not reading this blog. Just sayin’.
[Looks over shoulder for the G-Man, the G-Pup, the Geekess…]
Six More Things ~
~ I’m easily startled unless I’m writing. Then a kangaroo piloting a helicopter could hover in my writing space and I wouldn’t notice.
~ I like a Gibson.
~ I used to play handball or racquetball on my lunch hours.
~ I prefer to be near the water rather than on it, which didn’t stop me from going sailing or learning how to swim.
~ I’ve never understood the appeal of grapefruit.
~ I love jigsaw puzzles.
Let’s just spend a moment back in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Yeah. Let’s do that.
Okay.
Tell me one thing about you.
Go!
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

I can’t stand Donald Trump! LOL. There. I’ve said it. 😉

Gibson? You play guitar? I used to love raquetball. (Hard to even find a court these days.)
For me – I’d rather spend my time playing the piano than just about anything.

Um. Gibson…. the cocktail. 😀 But there were plenty of guitar pickers in my family. Does that count? And what music do you like to play, Gruhn? Racquetball forever!

I’m a product of the late 70’s so it’s all Billy Joel, Elton John, Journey…………

I was going to ask the same thing. Although I’m not related, I figured this one out on my own.

I love racquetball! And the water, in or on it. One thing about me? I don’t scare easily.

3 comments and 2 racquetball players so far. For the win! None of those things about you surprised me, Eric. 🙂

I’ve never played racquetball – ever. That would scare me. ha,ha
Water is my element. Love it, in or near.

It can get rowdy. One of my partners broke her foot trying to return a play. #itwasntmyfault All those walls can be dangerous.

I didn’t have much chance to do racquet sports but took up soccer (le foot) at the age of 32. I’m thinking of switching back to Scotch – from wine. There: two.

I must say that I’m enjoying learning a thing or two about y’all. I like scotch. I would never have guessed about the soccer!!

I love jigsaws too! And hot water bottles ( to heat bed).

Kindred puzzlers! I’m thinking a hot water bottle would be good about now. Lovely.

I find myself a little too often in a middle of a conversation and not having picked up a single word. Maybe I should find some more interesting friends?… But, seriously, no grapefruit?! And are you talking about Gibson guitars or Mel Gibson (it’s a big difference)?

Ha. I d on’t think I can answer that question. Well, I like all kinds of other citrus, Otto. 😉 I never even thought about Mel Gibson. Gibson… the cocktail. I don’t think it’s trendy anymore. However, I prefer it to a martini on occasion. It’s all about the onion.

I don’t even know what a Gibson cocktail is…

It’s a classic dry gin martini with 1-3 pearl onions as the garnish instead of olives or lemon twist. There is a vodka Gibson out there. Heresy!

P.S. You’re right. There is a big difference between a Gibson guitar and a Mel Gibson. 😀

So staying near a hot tub or being in a hot tub in this weather? You choose! 😉

As a career salesperson, I love knowing about other peeps. Thanks for the insight… Me? I’m bald (only on top) and I love it. You ought to see how fast I can get out of the locker room at the Y while other guys are still combing their waves.

Ha. Hair can be labor-intensive. Bald seems to be trending these days, no matter the age or stage. I kinda like that.
