May.
Huh.
Zippity-zip-zip went April.
The April Painting Project will extend into May…. June….
July?
Who can say? It’s like the contractor who says two weeks on that kitchen reno, and three months later you’re done.
But I’m back. A blogger can’t live on paint fumes alone. Not without getting dizzy.
May.
Huh.
Here’s one view of the National Gallery of Canada. As I’ll be heading there — choo-choo — in May for the Tulip Festival and food and drink, it seems only appropriate to post an Ottawa click or ten this month. This be autumn. And muzzy. Grab a bench. Sit a spell.
May.
Huh.
And Monday is in the house.
Go get it.

I wonder how long it takes to repaint that national gallery?
I think I mentioned I disappeared for a few weeks because we had a 4 month remodel nightmare that was supposed to be two months and I just got to a point where I couldn’t do anything extra-curricular but have finally come up for air. I’ve learned to always multiply the time estimate they give you.

I don’t think it’s a single person job. I don’t think mine is a single person job. Nope. You didn’t mention it, Gruhn. I wondered why I wasn’t getting any cartoon alerts in my email. Yes, that is so true. The April Painting Project is a solo project executed by moi. April was really just jumpstart month. Help me, Rhonda. If Ed the Painter hadn’t retired, I’d be home free. Nice to see you come up for air. Cheers!

May you enjoy the arrival of May. And yes, some projects do extend in time for mysterious reasons, don’t they!

I still have a painting project left over from Feb. Maybe I’ll get it to this summer 🙂

Tulip festival in Ottawa, I’m so insanely jealous. Please let me know how it is and take me with you in spirit.
Have a great trip and if you see Justin T say ‘Hi’ for me.

It was great, Kellie. We were at the end of it but the tulips were still quite lovely. I think Justin T was busy packing for Japan. Our paths did not cross. 😉
