Mushrooms-by-the-Lake!
Not to be confused with Niagara-on-the-Lake. Don’t get me wrong. Both are lovely.
But, but, but…
One is an incredible edible — most of the time. Sometimes an hallucinogen. And sometimes deadly.
The other is a locale. An historic locale.
They’re both magic.
I found these on a stroll down the shore of Lake Ontario in my neck of Canadaland.
They were unexpected.
Here be Friday.
Take a step away from the news. Smell the mushrooms.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

Oh, goodie, im the ‘first to leave a comment’. 😄! Mushrooms are awesome to look at and photograph. Have you ever been to the quaint little waterfront area at St. Catherine? There are a few cool restaurants there. They must serve mushrooms, not the deadly ones, of course… 🍄

Are you talking about St. Catharines, Ontario? The Port Dalhousie waterfront? I lived in St. Catharines for 11 years. I loved living in the Niagara Region. Have you ridden the carousel there? OR… are you talking about another St. Catharines?
