And it feels like summer…
The hottest of sweltering hot summers…
In Canadaland…
Ontarioland…
Burbville…
It’s autumn!
That beauty right up there had to have its backside, aka fence side, severely trimmed for the fencers. Sobs! It’s lucky. Everything else got a severe trim. And by trim I mean buzz cut. My mantra is — It’ll grow back. It’ll grow back. It’ll grow back.
We’re waiting until the last possible moment for the pulling of the tomato plants, which are thriving in this autumnal heat. Two more days max.
The upside to the heatwave, I got to fan myself on the couch and watch Wonder Woman, which I — l-o-v-e — loved.
Anybody else see it?
And Monday is in the house.
Grab it and go!
Elen
I can’t get over this gorgeous weather we are having. Summer is going out with a bang.
I have not seen Wonder Woman but picturing you on the couch fanning yourself makes me think I’m a big fan of yours LOL. Good moves there Elen.

Are you getting this gorgeous sunset? It makes me think of the movie Out of Africa.

It’s weirdly hot here, too. I enjoy the summery flowers, but I long for cool fall nights– so I’m conflicted about what I want. Nothing new there…

Yes. Conflicted. That’s perfect.

oh man, we LOVE Wonder Woman in this house! I need to watch that again.
I haven’t lived here long enough to know if the weather is currently weird or not, but I’m hoping it drops into normal fall ranges soon. I want to drink more pumpkin spice lattes, but the air feels wrong for it. 🙂

The opening storytelling was mythical and wonderful. I would watch it again for sure. Our heatwave breaks tomorrow and we’ll be in the seventies. LOL The diggers will appreciate that. Nice to see you again, Matt.

27 feels like 35! That’s not autumn. The garden loves it though.

Thanks! After tomorrow we’re into frost warnings at night. Brrr… Still too early to turn the heat on or for the electric blanket 🙂
