Favorite TV Series of all time… That is kind of hard because I used to be a TV Addict so I have quite a few favorites. But One of mine is the same as your’s.. West Wing! BY FAR one of the greatest TV shows ever done. But I will say the first 4 seasons were the best when Aaron Sorkin was the writer. I am so familiar with his writing style that I could really tell a difference after he left. His talent for dialogue is unparalleled! He is a genius! His other series like Sports Night and Newsroom are awesome also. The opening scene to Newsroom with Jeff Daniels is one of the best in TV history! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zqOYBabXmA
#2 Quantum Leap-Scott Bakula is just YUM! Even today! I watch him on NCIS:New Orleans
#3 NCIS (original) is my go to right now! If I could only watch 1 hour of TV a week that is the show I would not miss. I have seen every single episode and I pay for CBS Access specifically so I never have to miss one in case my DVR fails! LOL!!

Yes, yes, and yes, Courtney, on West Wing. I enjoy NCIS (original) very much. We stream it. No cable or rabbit ears in our house anymore. Netflix, iTunes or streaming. Oh, and DVDs. I’m clicking over to check the YouTube.

Okay. I don’t know how I missed The Newsroom, but I’m going to have to find it. Thanks for the link. And that’s why I love when peeps comment. 🙂

Aaron Sorkin also wrote “A Few Good Men” … interesting story about that movie. It was originally written as a play for Off Broadway. It ran for almost 500 shows. Then Aaron was approached to write the screen play for the movie. Fabulous flick…one of the best performances I know of by Jack Nicholson. Jiminy Christmas! Tom Cruise and Demi Moore and Kevin Bacon are so freaking young!!
He also wrote “Steve Jobs”, “Monster Ball” and “The American President” (West Wing was based on) and one of my top 10 favorite movies. The movie about Steve Jobs was good but I haven’t seen Monster Ball because of content. Anything to do with addiction hits a little too close to home for our family. Aaron Sorkin is a genius! But I might be a little bias! ha ha ha ha!! 😉

Yes, I’ve seen them all except Monster Ball. That just seemed way too intense for me. Oh, I picked up the first season of Newsroom at the library today. Woot!

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I suppose I’d say: The Big Bang Theory, Frasier, and Designing Women.

The BBT makes me laugh. I think it’s fresh and nerdy. The late eighties through the nineties certainly brought some interesting programming.
