Look this way…
No. This way. Look this way!
Rudbeckia taken this morning while sippin’ the decaffeine. It’s tucked in all the places in the garden. Sturdy, little, happy girl.
So…
I’m prepping the entry, coat closet, and long hall today for painting. I’m a glutton. A glutton for painting. Not really. It comes under the categories of Must Be Done and I’ve Procrastinated Too Long.
Can one procrastinate too long?
Covering vibrant red and some mossy green with more Benjamin Moore’s Simply White. I hope I survive the blizzard of white before I get to the good stuff some pops of color.
And Monday is in the house.
Own. It.

One can definitely procrastinate too long. And I do, quite often.
( Yes, garden weeds. I’m talking to you. Sigh…)

Ha! Garden weeds. I made a big dent in those this weekend. It’s been awfully hot and humid here, and they’ve grown like — um — weeds. But then, too hot and humid to yank them. It’s a vicious circle.

Same here, the heat and humidity have been relentless this year. And quite unusual for Maine. The weeds are winning… and it’s too hot to care.

Point of clarification. Are you painting over what you put on the walls previously, or are you painting over what the previous owners put on the walls? Inquiring minds need to know.

No. I’m painting over my own color palette choice. It seems that when everyone is into a neutral palette, I’m all about the color, which is my go to anyway. And when color is trending, I’m Little Miss Neutral. That’s where I’m heading, though there will be some accent walls of color throughout the house.

We did the same thing. When we moved here painted our walls bold colors, very bright. Then in the last couple of years have gone to a more subdued look with what I call splashes of spirited color. Hoping your painting project is going smoothly.
