The Happy Couple!
G-Man managed to get this click a couple of days ago. Not too shabby for being taken through the patio and screen doors. Once the hydrangea leaves are fully opened, the birdbath will be very discreet. Discreet enough for bird-play.
G-Man got a little bath action on the female. This must have been in the afternoon. It’s pretty bright. I’m sure her partner is waiting patiently on a nearby branch. He likes to rub his face on the branches when he’s finished bathing. And he’s pretty alpha where she’s concerned.
Thanks for the pics, G-Man.
Tuesday, y’all.
Make it work.

Love the photo and the bird bath itself. Very springy.

Thanks, Ally. I’ll pass that along.

Beautiful!
We have cardinals but I rarely see them in the bath. From the looks of yours, I’m thinking ours is too deep for them….

I always thought of mine as a glorified drinking fountain until this pair came along. 😀 Even the bees were drinking out of it last year.

We have a large bath, the grackles and starlings bathe…. most other birds just drink. Maybe I should get a small one as well.
