Layered Greens!
The gardens are beginning to show their true colors. Veggie planting isn’t as far along as it normally is this time of year. Mama Weather just isn’t cooperating. Mostly it’s been in the high 50’s to low 60’s. Yesterday, it was 57 until 5:00 p.m. At 5:01 p.m. it was 75. I’m not kidding. And windy. Windy, windy, windy. Rain, too.
I have a few herbs in and a couple of the tomato and pepper plants. That is all.
This is hashtag sad.
So…
So, I’m up in the woman cave over the garage spring cleaning. Decluttering. Pitching very important stuff from 1995 that I just had to keep. And now I haven’t a clue why.
Into the Blue Bin is our mantra.
That’s the royal Our.
And it requires its own playlist. I might even name it Into the Blue Bin. The royal Our will get back to you on our playlist.
Tell me something you’ve been doing that is more fun than this.
Happy weekend, y’all.
Time to scram. Vamoose. Hightail it out of here.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

It’s Sweet Woodruff. I grow it in several places. Partial to full shade. It’s a runner. I control it by pulling. But if you want to naturalize it over a large area that would be perfect, too. Herbaceous perennial.

Unfortunately we have very little shade…. our lawn is wide open, until you hit woods.
