The Niagara Region is the home of boutique wineries in Southern Ontario.
It’s wine country.
Vine country.
I ran across the busy Niagara Parkway to get this shot, and a few more.
Such is my love for you.
Zip. Zip.
Okay. My love is for fruit of the vine.
Boutique wine.
Which goes with my other love.
Cheese.
What interested me most about this vineyard was…
A rose had been planted at the end of every other row.
This one was still blooming.
I wanted to meet the vintner/farmer/grape grower/whatever who does that.
Our snow is long gone. It’s 59 Fahren here in my neck of Canadaland, with a wind warning, rain, and possible thunderstorm.
That rose is a balm to my soul.
Those leaves.
That sky.
Those vines.
Yup.
Balm.
And Monday is in the house.

Lovely! Like you, I am deeply fond of the rose. And the light is just marvelous.

It is! The Niagara Region is one of my fave places. Soft fruit and vine country. It’s a picture.

And a rose in the not-quite wintertime wintertime. You RAN across the Niagara Parkway!&*!*

Well, yes. But it’s not like running across the 401. 😉
