Humpity Day: I Never… +

Just Hangin’

I like all these colors, especially together.

Taken at the Distillery District on Saturday during Artfest Toronto.

In yesterday’s post I asked:

Sunrise or sunset?

Which makes your heart go pitty-pat? Makes you do a little boogie? Makes you want to throw your hands up and shout?

Or…

Fuhgeddaboudit, I never come out of the bat cave (or if you’re Batman, the Batcave).

Evah!!!

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking — Elen never comes out of the bat cave.

This might be true.

But… you can drag me out for a glorious sunset.

Sunrise… you’re on your own.

Here be Hump Day.

Let’s just hang in there. The weekend is around the bend, and it’s a long weekend for peeps south of my border.

And a short week for Canucks.

It’s museum day for me, so I’m good either way.

  1. I find peace just looking at the photo. Such a serene and lovely place. And the colours are beautiful. However, all the warm colours, and in particular the orange foliage makes me think of autumn. On a different not, I am much more of a sunset than a sunrise kind of guy myself, too.

    • Thank you, Otto. I feel the same. Interestingly, G-Man asked me over lunch today when I took that pic. I told him at the Distillery Sunday. The post says Saturday, but I was somewhere else on Saturday, so… yeah, Sunday. This is what happens when you have a holiday weekend. LOL He said that it looked all autumnal. Maybe that’s what caught my eye. I don’t know what the tree is. Of course, my Autumn Blaze Maple in the front garden begins the spring with red leaves.

Yes! That’s 3 for 3 for sunsets. Cheers!
