This morning I was tweeting from the road like this…
My banker was wearing elf shoes and a Christmas fascinator this morning. #mustbechristmas
And then…
Stylist spiked my coffee this morning. Best highlights ever. #mustbechristmas
And then, I stopped. Because that coffee had been spiked. Spiked, I tell you. I think it was Dooley’s. Then, they gave me a bottle. A bottle of Dooley’s. I don’t know whether to put it in the coffee cupboard or the liquor cupboard.
#mustbechristmas
This is my last post until after #mustbechristmas is over.
I’m leaving you with my favorite card of the season. It made me smile. It made me laugh. It made me wish I lived where there are pelicans.
This card came from my good friend, JoAnn Ross. Not only does she write fabulous stories, she gives good cards. Best. Card. Ever.

Whatever you may be celebrating at this time of year — whether it be Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or any combination thereof — I’m wishing you the joy of it.

Addendum: You will find the full story of JoAnn’s twenty-one year old pelican cards at her blog, Romance Writing From the Edge. Click. On. Over.
