I’m acting as a scrutineer today in a municipal election. Therefore, I will be scrutinizing? scrutineering? observing?

I’ll be there watching the voting process, collecting the voter count at the end of the day — from a specific poll, for a specific candidate. Exercising my citizenship muscle.
