And so it begins, NaNoWriMo — National Novel Writing Month. From now through the 30th of November, crazy folk many of my writerly friends (and a whole bunch of people I don’t know) will be attempting to crank out a 50,000 — 175 page — word first draft of a novel. And they will do it with enthusiasm and dogged determination. Go, go, go! My friends, I wish you well.
