Every so often, I like to put up a Mike Gruhn web comic. I think I’ve put up five since 2009, which is probably when I discovered him on the interwebs. It was laugh at first sight.
It’s Monday — in case you didn’t get the memo — and I couldn’t think of anything more fitting than this Gruhn, which came across my Twitter late last week.
You can find more Gruhn at WebDonuts. Click on over. Hurry!
I’ve had a little hiatus from the weblog, Twitter and Facebook. It was unplanned, like a surprise baby in a category romance (one of my fave category plot lines).
We won’t count how many days. That would just be rude.
During that time, I was reading Kristen Lamb’s Are You There Blog? It’s Me, Writer and We Are Not Alone — The Writer’s Guide to Social Media. I’m still not finished with the latter, but almost. These are terrific resources, specifically for the writer, on navigating the murky waters that are social media and blogging.
I’m relieved to say that I’ve actually done some things right. Kristen had me worried sweating bullets there for a moment. I’m working on the rest. To that end, you will see some changes to my site over the next while, probably Facebook, too. Get ready for a rumble.
I’m pretty sure I met Kristen on Twitter. You can find her blogging her expertise at Kristen Lamb’s Blog. Clickety, click.
Oh, did a huge chunk of writing, too.
Hello, Monday! It’s good to be back.
