With 3 days to go, here is what the Soldiers’ Angels Valour-IT fund-raising campaign looks like. These were the numbers at day’s end November 8th —

Team Army — $595

Team Navy — $1735

Team Air Force — $145

Team Marines — $3615

Non-specific — $425

Team Marines has left Team Army in the dust. Are you going to take that, Team Army? Team Navy has a nice lead on Team Air Force.

$70,236 gets 87 laptops for wounded vets — or any combination of laptops, Wii Video Game Systems, personal GPS, and now iPad. These technologies help restore confidence and independence to vets dealing with severe physical wounds, TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and are key elements in their recovery.
