This book trailer, by historical romance author Tessa Dare, was making the rounds on Twitter last week and has been posted to not a few writer blogs.

I love it so much that I’ve posted it here for you. I’m selfish enough to want it in my archives. It goes beyond creative to inspired. And it’s just plain fun and laugh-out-loud funny!

I pretty much watch book trailers on request. I don’t know why exactly. I love movie trailers. Maybe it’s because I choose my books because they are by authors I know and love, by back cover matter, or someone I know recommends them. Sometimes I’ve been known to buy a book on the basis of the cover alone, but that is something else entirely.

Here is Tessa Dare’s clever and entertaining book trailer for her new Stud Club trilogy.

And here are the books, which will release respectively on May 25, June 22 and July 27.

The book trailer caused me to want to read these books before I even got a look at their gorgeous covers. Can’t wait.
