The power of Twitter…

It’s Launch Day, baby! Yes, today is the official release day for Jon F. Merz’s THE KENZEI.

I met Jon on Twitter. He was engaging, and I took the opportunity to download and read some of his free short works and subscribed to his newsletter.

On Christmas Eve day, I decided to preorder his latest Lawson vampire novel for the new Kindle I purchased in November.

Just like clockwork, it rolled down onto my Kindle this morning. I love that about you, Kindle.  And when my writing day is over and the day turns dark, and when the freezing rain begins to fall, I’m going to pour myself a glass of Black Cab and curl up for what I think is going to be a great read.

The blurb ~

Meet Lawson. A cynical, wise-cracking vampire charged with protecting the Balance between vampires and humans, he is part cop, part spy, and part commando — James Bond with fangs. Lawson mixes shrewd cunning with unmatched lethality to get his job done. He tries his best to dismantle conspiracies, dispatch bad guys, and live long enough to get home. In The Kensei, a battle-weary Lawson heads to Japan for a little rest and some advanced ninja training. But he no sooner steps off the plane than lands in the midst of a Yakuza turf war orchestrated by a shadowy figure known as the Kensei. With the help of Talya, a former KGB-assassin, Lawson must put a stop to the Kensei’s organ trafficking networks, prevent the creation of an army of vampire-human hybrids, and save his own skin in the process.

  1. One of the many things I appreciate about you, Miz Elen, is your generous support for other writers. I have found some great authors through you. I still don’t have a Kindle but am buying ebooks anyway. Thanks

    • Hey Keziah – I always love when you pop by. What a lovely thing to say. It took me a while to settle on Kindle and save my pennies. lol If I’m not mistaken, I believe you can get the book directly from Jon in various e-book formats. Just contact him at his site or check with him on Twitter or Facebook.
