On July 9th, I posted this image of my orchid-in-stasis and
hinted boldly suggested that it looked like my Popsicle green pot was wearing a fascinator.
Even more so now. This is the shot I took this morning.
And this one.
Does that not remind you of the contemporary take on the fascinator? My fave — the red Maple Leaf fascinator worn by the new Duchess of Cambridge for the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa on July 1.
This week, I’m retiring as the coordinator for a volunteer project that I’ve been coordinating for 13 years. Lots of boxes and files are being moved out of my office and my basement to now reside in another’s office and basement. To that end, I am rushing here and rushing there. I’m dusty and sweaty, and what is left of my hydrated self is melting into a little puddle.
So, as I am being sweaty and dusty and mostly hydrated today, I leave you with this laugh. I first saw this over at The Inspired Room, posted by Melissa. I love her decorating and homemaking blog. You can find Melissa on Twitter at @theinspiredroom.
