On the Water!
It’s cold and rainy… a typical autumn day.
The pumpkin wreaths and seasonal decor got hauled from the basement.
And it’s a chili and cornbread supper kind of day.
A favorite blogger reminded me this morning that Canadian Thanksgiving is 9 days away.
Crikey!
So. We’ll look this way. One last time.
The diggers came yesterday and did an amazing job. G-Man took lots of pics, several of which will be posted here next week.
I ran away. Left the premises. Opted for a hair day. The last pedi of the season, because who cares during boot season. We’re rockin’ OPI’s I Knead Sourdough. It’s kind of a plumy brown. Then there was the eyebrow threading and tinting. I stayed away as long as I could, man!
9 days until Canadian Thanksgiving.
I think I’ll hop a train with a hip flask in my pocket and stare out the window.
Yeah. Save a turkey. Ride the train.

Your day away sounds lovely. In fact everything about autumn is lovely, so why not celebrate it with “I Knead Sourdough”? I’ve chosen OPI’s “Berry On Forever” [a deep raspberry purple] as my last pedi of the year that I just got today. Happy weekend!

Eyebrow threading? Is that ‘sumthin’ the pioneers ‘lernt’ you as a Thanksgiving tradition? Eyebrow threading? Where have I been???😜

Threading is an alternative to waxing. It’s actually very old. Egyptian, I think. I find it doesn’t hurt as much as waxing. It’s used on the face and eyebrows. If it’s used elsewhere, I don’t know about it. And I don’t want to know about it. You might be interested to know that eyebrow braiding has become a bit of a thing. But not for me. Cheers!

(shh don’t tell, I looked up the color). DW is a big fan of OPI so I was curious what color kneading sourdough was. I like it! I would have gone with pumpkin pie 🙂 Mmmm pie. Thanksgiving is coming! Ours will be a small celebration this year… We give big thanks, though.

That’s the way, Eric. Be bold. 😀 Well, I think the DW needs some pumpkin pie then. It is! It is! we’re very small this year too. I’m so grateful for so many things though. I’m so behind on blog reading, but you know you’re at the top of my list when I get there. Almost ready for the fencers.
