It’s May 1, and I just want to open a big ol’ can of posies. Yeah. Just like that right there. Mama Weather has stunted our spring growth worse than a cancer stick. She’s been dishing out rainy-cold-windy for a month, and other unspeakable things. Enough about her. Moving on.

I became aware of the milblogging community as a volunteer with Soldiers’ Angels. It is a privilege to read their perspectives and insights on current events, military service and military life in general. Always passionate, often humorous and sometimes heartbreaking in their chronicling, I commend them to you.
P.S. There are currently 1496 deployed soldiers seeking adoption. Let’s get some troop support heading their way.
