New Glory!

Click taken last week. This is the bulb I picked up at the Home Depots in November 2017 for the holiday season. It bloomed twice that year. I left it in its pot over the spring and summer and autumn and into winter until January of 2019. It sat in my office keeping me company. Then I gave it a drink of water on a semi-regular basis.

And this is what happened.

I really didn’t expect it to grow again, especially after ignoring it for months.

It’s sitting on the fireplace now where the holiday glam used to be. That bloom is fully opened and a second one has formed behind it.

Making me feel hopeful about spring.

All those shades of pink.

This is the last Friday in February.
