Close Shot Friday 079

Yesterday, we made our annual trek to Toronto’s Gardiner Museum to see the 12 Trees of Christmas: The Toronto Edition.  The theme this year is Toronto neighbourhoods. What fun!

Because yesterday was Thanksgiving Day in America, and everyone is in a food-induced coma.

Because it’s Black Friday today, and everyone is out trampling the stores looking for a deal, or tearing-up the intertoobs…looking for a deal.

Because it’s Close Shot Friday.

And because this made me laugh.

Go ahead. Hover and click. I’ll wait.

This is a close shot of the Forest Hill Village neighbourhood tree — The Furry Friends of Forest Hill. Designer: Robert Tanz of Robert Tanz Design. I love the use of the word squirl in this design. Bonus!

The exhibit runs from November 12 – December 14. So. There is still time to hie yourself down to the Gardiner Museum across the street from the ROM.

We went to the New Yorker Deli on Bay Street for lunch afterwards. Just sayin’.

You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

Oh, never mind. You’re out doing that Black Friday thing.

I can hear a bowling ball roll through here.
