This is how we’re rolling for Throwback Thursday — #tbt — this second Thursday in December.

Christmas My Deer!

For a number of years now in the month of December, we’ve stumbled downtown with holiday sprinkles in our hair and Christmas icing on our cheeks — Have yourself a merry little Christmas! And we do!! — to view the Twelve Trees of Christmas at the Gardiner Museum across from the ROM — aka the Royal Ontario Museum — in Toronto.

I’ve posted about it before.

Several times.

Thinking outside the Christmas tree!

This year marks the 27th year. We haven’t been…………… yet. The Gardiner is shaking things up a bit, and I look forward to that. It runs from November 12 through January 3.

In past years, the trees have been theme focused.

In 2011, when these shots were taken, the theme was All Creatures Great and Small.

I love the antler thing going on here. And the pink thing. And the feather thing.

I have joy in my Christmas heart for this tree. It was designed by Camal Pirbhai, Kate Hardy for Gallery Bespoke.

Tell me about your favorite tree.
