Orange you glad it’s Friday?
From last Friday to this Tuesday, I was one with the #20kin5DaysJan Challenge created by author Tasha L. Harrison. 4000 wc per day for five days was the goal.
I had a blast. Indeed, I did.
This was the perfect challenge for me. A narrow window. Five days. I could get on board with that.
This is how mine went:
Day 1 – 4014, Day 2 – 4081, Day 3 – 2465, Day 4 – 3011, Day 5 – 6565, Total – 20136
Most days were done in two sessions. That last day took three. I would not want to do that third session again. Seriously. I finished at 11:45 p.m and hit the red zone on the snackometer. That’s a word, right? It is now. I’m claiming it.
This was the schedule that worked for me.. Everyone sets their own pace.
I can say it was a solid creative start to 2020, and I don’t regret doing it. There’s another one coming up in May. I hope to jump on that one, too. To learn more about #20kin5Days go here.
The end of 2019 was a word desert, mostly barren. The interior do over left no energy for creativity. Could’ve been the paint fumes or that ugly green frog tape. Just sayin’.
All I know going forward into 2020 is that I need to write, even though I’m neck deep in the paint project. 250 wc equals a page of story. Let’s go!
Seriously. Orange you glad it’s Friday?
I build platforms with leftover bricks.
Get your Friday freak on.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
