Humpity Day: Before the Slush… +

Winter Fence!

This is the way I like my winter. Full of bright beauty.

Soft.

Quiet.

Before the slush comes.

Slush sounds very… slushy. Have you ever noticed that?

Also, it’s wet.

And gray.

I’ll Take Your Answers ~

Who among you still get DVDs from the library? If you do, what’s the last one you watched?

I’ll start. Just recently, I’ve been watching Rebecka Martinsson, a Swedish mystery set in a stark, northern landscape. Subtitled. It’s dark and gritty. (TV Series 2017 -)

And Jack Irish (2016 -). Australian. Mystery. It has one of my favorite actors in it, Marta Dusseldorp, which is why I’m watching it. I first became aware of Dusseldorp in the Australian production A Place to Call Home, which is excellent drama with a stellar cast. (TV Series 2013-2018).

The first two, I’m watching through my fingers. Still, can’t look away.

What else are you going to do in the dark hours of wintry nights? Okay. Besides that.

You can only eat so many cookies.

Now it’s your turn.

Here be Hump Day.

Shuffle right along to Thursday.
