Burbville Grasses!
I took a little stroll through the neighborhood this week to see how my neighbors’ flowers are holding up in this topsy-turvy autumn. Stood on the sidewalk and talked with a gardener or two who happened to be out in their frontscapes poking at this, prodding at that. It’s our version of hanging over the garden fence.
The trend these days seems to be yanking the grass out of the boulevard and throwing down all manner of gravel, stone, and plants that tolerate heat and little water. Burbville xeriscaping.
These five foot tall grasses were just around the corner. Just dancing in the sun. They reminded me of aquarium water plants. I imagined brightly colored tropical fish darting in and out and snails lazing on individual reeds.
True Confessions ~
I was Skyping the LOLSister from my smartphone yesterday, letting her know that the next morning I would be seeing my go-to gal for brow tinting and threading. But what Google Keyboard substituted was I would be seeing my go-to gal for tinkering and thrashing.
I don’t mind a tinker, but I’m just not into thrashing.
And really, Google, that kinda sounded like something you would tag nsfw.
Just sayin’.
Here be Friday of a short week. What’s not to love?
Time to scram. Vamoose. Hightail it out of here.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
