This week is by fits and starts. Mr. G, honey is on vacation. He’s using up time that he — oops! — forgot to use up earlier in the year. More to follow in June. It’s use it or lose it. Who can forget vacation anyway? He must have been a verra busy man. In truth, I know he was.
This is not a good time for me to not be working, but Mr. G, honey is a very distracting man. This is a quality I happen to like. A lot. Still…
We’ve hit three nurseries X 2. My trunk is loaded with manure, limestone screening, top dresser soil. We’re negotiating shrubs. My future is flashing before my eyes, and it’s not pretty — but it will be. I think I may have to drag out the knee pads and the extra, extra strength Advil to survive the next few days.
This little beauty is being plunked in a shady stretch of the side garden. Viola labradorica purpurea. It has a lovely purplish tinge to the leaves and thrives in a Northern Girl clime. Perfect.
If we live, we’re going to go see Iron Man. Anybody see it yet? It’s a Mr. G, honey choice. I’ll let you know.
Yes. It’s going to be by fits and starts, but I’ll try to keep up. This may involve blogging by the light of the moon.
