Destination Canadaland ~
We’re having the long weekend. We’re celebrating Victoria Day, aka Fête de la Reine. Monday is a stat holiday.
Can I get a Wahoo?!
Besides celebrating the late Queen Victoria’s birthday and that of the reigning monarch, we’re unofficially welcoming summer. We’re crushing and crashing each other at the local garden centers, planting our bedding plants, filling the pool, and/or opening up the cottage. Mowers will be rumbling, dandelions flying.
I’m not doing any of those things.
I’m doing this —
Mercy!
Weather permitting, there will be some moving of plants, some grilling of meat, some drinking of Guinness, but my eyes will be on Captain Jack.
What about you?
