So.
We took a little road trip.
We had a little roadmance.
I scheduled my posts for two weeks.
I left Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in charge of the house and the G-Pup. Stark could invoke Iron Man if a situation developed. And Pepper could handle both Tony and Iron Man. It was all good.
We traveled Coastal Maine and ran up and down Vermont and New Hampshire, dipping into New York and Quebec.
We drove, man.
3250 km, aka just over 2000 miles.
I met a couple from Illinois at the Kittery, Maine Visitor Information Center. We were all standing around eating our road trip lunches. No one wanted to sit down. She came for lobster and lighthouses.
Me, too.
I think she had an app.
Me… not so much.
My best boiled lobster dinner — Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, just before you cross the bridge to Bar Harbor.
Before.
The one with the number 10 on it is mine. I had no room for Maine blueberry pie. Or corn on the cob. Or…
After.
I think that qualifies for Close Shot Friday.
Honey, I’m home.

Great post and great photos! The colors in the photos are wonderful. And I really enjoy your crisp prose. The tone is light, lively, with the just-right tartness of a great lemon meringue pie.
