Meanwhile, back at Edwards Gardens.
Embrace.
Click. It. Bigger.
I was walking a different section of the EG — the Teaching Garden — when I came upon this massive trellis structure. I don’t know what blooms upon it. It wasn’t blooming yet. But I really liked the way concrete and nature embraced in this close shot.
And that wraps up Close Shot Friday.
In other news ~
The thunder rumbled; the skies grew dark. The heavens opened; the rain poured forth.
And everything on the container farm grew a foot.
Lunch on the water yesterday with a best girlfriend, followed by a walk on the boardwalk amidst a gaggle of school children celebrating the day-before-the-last-day-of-school, put some color on our cheeks and provided a good dose of Vit D. The grilled portobello mushroom and roasted red pepper sandwich might have made me weep. Mebbe.
I’m in the grip of the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.
Yes, I am.
Please don’t rescue me.
TGIF. You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

Interesting shot. Are the Edwards Gardens deep in B’ville or ???

No. Not B-ville. Edwards Gardens is at Lawrence & Leslie in Toronto. It’s one of my fave haunts, as you can see. 🙂
