True Confessions ~
I bought the Halloween candy prematurely.
And.
It is prematurely gone.
The end.
In Other News ~
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking it was eight days between Wednesday’s bloggity post and the bloggity post before that.
Unacceptable, couch potato-ish writing!
Slacker!!, you cry!!!
[I heard WordPress was giving out bonus stars for exclamation points today. Just sayin’.]
Let me break it down for you.
In descending order.
Wed, Oct 14th — Blog post.
Tues, Oct 13th — Not a bloggity posting day.
Mon, Oct 12th — Canadian Thanksgiving. A statutory holiday in Canada, excepting the Atlantic Provinces. I don’t live in the Atlantic Provinces, but I would like to. To my credit I VOTED at the advance polls.
Sun, Oct 11th — Not a bloggity posting day, and I was eating roast turkey chicken.
Sat, Oct 10th — Ditto Sunday without the roast turkey chicken eating.
Fri, Oct 9th — Contemplating Roast Turkey Chicken Day. Bemoaning the fact that it isn’t in November, when it might actually be cold enough outside to feel the roast turkey chicken love. It took all of my working brain cells.
Ths, Oct 8th — Not a bloggity posting day.
Wed, Oct 7th — Hair Day! My fave hair stylist cut my hair so short I was too weak to write a blog post. She stole my blogging strength, man. This is the Samson and Delilah story retold for the 21st century. It’s still relevant.
Tues, Oct 6th — Not a bloggity posting day.
Mon, Oct 5th — Single Shot Monday blog post!
So you see, I was only gone two bloggity post days.
Not eight.
Two.
And FYI — Yes. I told you on Monday the 5th that Wednesday would be #newbrunswickroadtrip Moncton, but did I say which Wednesday?
I did not.
Nope.
This is my brain on short hair… rationalizing having a Lucy moment.
I know.
Right about now you’re asking yourself, “Where is she going with this?”
I’m asking myself the same thing.
Signed,
Clueless in Burbville
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
TGIF!
Gave me and the missus a chuckle. Thanks.

What made you think that Canadian Thanksgiving was not a statutory holiday in the Maritimes (I can’t speak for the Rock and Labrador, so can’t write ‘Atlantic Provinces’?) It must have been; the liquor stores were closed. But not the polls. Roast turkey (nah, chicken, but no strike through) and voting on the same weekend – set me back too.

Hm. I took my info from The Googles, Bunty. More than one source, but here is one. http://www.statutoryholidays.com/thanksgiving.php I am happy to be incorrect. 🙂 I’m not sure why, but my brood prefers chicken to turkey. Go figure. LOL Did you have a good Thanksgiving?

First off, you voted? I so want to talk politics but I know it’s not polite. ha,ha
So I will address the chicken, candy and hair issues, oh and add a holiday. Sounds like you went down a worm hole.
I’m in one this week as well and was freaking out yesterday when I realized it’s Friday and I have posted anything new yet. Instead of writing, I listened to a podcast yesterday as I was home sick on the couch…I have Breaking News: as far as Bloggity posts go. “It’s your blog, and you can do whatever you want, anytime you want.”
I love the way your mind works though and that frog – gets me every time.
Have fun at the bar and keep your ears warm. xo Kellie

I surely did, Miss Kellie. I almost always vote advanced polls. I hope you are feeling better! Yes, I flew down a rabbit hole with Alice. I do that sometimes. Yep. Tis all mine. That being said, I like to keep a schedule. If I say it’s going to be M/W/F, I like to make it so. My brain got to doodling last night about last week and a wee humor post doodled out. I love that frog so much. It’s my Friday frog. It has some ‘tude. Have a great weekend.

Nothing wrong with short hair at all! But aren’t you heading into winter soon? Just sayin’ as someone says.

Not at all. But you’re right. It’s time to get my Yeti on. 😉 Just north of us is getting snow tonight. We could have some Sunday. It won’t last. Still. It’s coming. And in your part of Texas? How warm are you today?
