Remember last week when I posted the pulse post on Skillet Cornbread with Chickpeas?
Moving right along.
I ended up with a cup of leftover chickpeas in the fridge.
I pulled them out on Monday morning and…
Doesn’t that just scream food photographer?!
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt + 1/2 cup of skim milk + 1/2 banana + 1/3 cup blueberries (Okay. I didn’t really measure those. Put in as many of those scrumptious suckers as you want.) + 1/3 cup of chickpeas + 1 immersion blender = Breakfast Smoothie.

Chickpeas are like tofu. You can’t even taste them in that smoothie.

True Confessions ~
I ate some leftover pasta with marinara sauce for breakfast on Wednesday and threw the last of chickpeas in that. Protein hit!

I was watching Nine Months last night and remembered my love for Mr. Tyrone Davis. Turn Back the Hands of Time is part of the soundtrack for that movie. And I surely do love it dearly. But I think this is my favorite. Thank you, Mr. Davis.
