All the soil has been redistributed.
The windows and doors sparkle… on the first floor. Screw the second floor. Did I say that? I meant, I’ll get to those in the spring.
Everything that needed fresh caulking was caulked.
Thyme and chives have been replanted into the garden. I brought some tiny basil and rosemary in for the winter.
The G-Man mowed. Hopefully, for the last time. But I’m not counting on it.
The garden crypts containers have been dismantled. We’re not going with those with the new fence.
Three pumpkins sit on the front porch waiting to be turned into Jacks. Did you hear that G-Man? They’re waiting for you.
Leaves are turning. It’s getting crisp.
Halloween is just around the corner, and I’m more than ready for that first fire of the season.
Here be Hump Day.
Who wants a caramel apple?
I do. I do.

Halloween decorating is officially over at our casa; my kid claims it’s all a waste of time. She still wants the candy though. LOL.
I ‘officially’ dressed in a fall outfit today and went out and purchased squash, Brussel sprouts, and other fall veggies and am making a Fall Sheet Pan supper. It’s cool enough to turn on the oven. It’s a BIG day Elen, a BIG day. Love your photos and humour.

Thank you, Kellie! LOLZ on the fall outfit and Fall Sheet Pan supper. I say that as I sit here in my sweater and socks. There is a definite nip in the air. Happy weekend to you!

Halloween has been put on stand-by this week. I have plans, big plans, but so far they remain theoretical. But when we do get to carving and decorating and buying candy, it’ll be fun. Happy Wednesday to you.

How are those ‘theoretical’ plans going, Ally? Good, I hope. I’m still waiting on the pumpkin carver. 😉 Have a great weekend. Um, it’s Friday.
