Let’s Go For A Ride!
I love the classic cars. Found this one in Michigan in 2013. Parked on a herb farm. Just waiting for her driver to come out of the outhouse. Getting a little window tickle from the tree.
You’ve seen her once before. But once just isn’t enough. You know?
If only I could find the keys. Vroom! Vroom!
And the rain in Spain falls mainly in Burbville. This is fine. The rain and the sun caused the white sweet alyssum to bloom and the periwinkle to purple and the daylilies and peonies and daisies to poke their noses out of the soil like prairie dogs. I can see the lemon balm pushing and shoving the autumn leaves aside. Let me outta here!
I feel kinda the same way.
And the hedge is greening up. Wassup?
True Confessions ~
My favorite sammie changes with the seasons.
- Spring — Open-faced egg salad, especially if avocado is involved.
- Summer — Lobster Roll and BLT. I need both in my life.
- Fall — Grilled cheese in all its forms.
- Winter — Meatball Sub. I like turkey meatballs best, with lots of grilled vegetables.
You?
Here be Friday.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
Happy weekend, y’all.

One knows he’s old when he can say, “oh, yeah, we had a station wagon version of that car. My dad…yada, yada”. Nice story. Have a great day!

LOLZ You’re not old. You’re seasoned. Thank you. BTW, I haven’t gotten any notices about your posts recently. Have I missed any? Don’t want to. So much fun. Happy weekend.

I haven’t posted anything in awhile. Seem to have had a tough time writing, the proper words just aren’t there. I’m going to be posting a ‘Bar Chronicles ‘ story this weekend. I’m not real pleased with it but I’ve got to do something that kickstart the ‘creative juices’. But it’s nice to be missed. Thank you. Have a great weekend. By the way, the book I’m reading about the Halifax explosion is very good. I recommend it if you like historical stuff…or, explosions 🤪!

We’ve all been there, Steve. Best to just write the crap until it isn’t crap anymore. I have to tell myself that all the time. I visited the museum in Halifax. That explosion was terrifying! I do like historical stuff. Cheers. Look forward to reading your post on Monday.
