Every year, I grow four to six little pea plants for snacking. I just stroll by the plant and pick off a ripe pod and eat mah peas. It’s not the only way, but it’s my way. I can hear ol’ Sinatra in the back brain.
But there’s no click of me standing in my Burbville garden picking mah peas. Where’s an Instagram husband when you need one?

True Confessions ~
My current fave breakfast is sauteed Swiss chard topped with the unknown free-range-possibly-organic chicken egg with a side of fresh strawberries and blueberries.
I say possibly organic, because I don’t really know my chicken egg farmer. We’re not acquainted. Who can really say? I do know my Swiss chard grower, however. That would be me.
Speaking of chickens, it’s National Fried Chicken Day. And now that’s all I can think about, and I can’t even remember the last time I had some.
