Humpity Day: Muddy my boots…

Fresh!

It’s National Pumpkin Seed Day.

So here’s a few of my fave pumpkins.

They are loaded with pumpkin seeds.

I’ve always loved the roasted pumpkin seeds, as far back as I can remember.

Even the store bought ones. Who knows what were in those. But they were crunchy and salty.

Now, I roast my own… or take a trip to the Bulk Barn and get some there.

It just depends on how much time I have to devote to the slimed seeds inside those fresh pumpkins. Can you relate?

I’ve been out in the garden this afternoon trying to get some chrysanthemums and ornamental cabbage into the front and back gardens. This morning was spent getting the locks trimmed and highlighted and all blow-dried into submission. FYI ~ The former activity canceled out the latter. That’s how I roll.

Distracted by trimming the creeping thyme around the front patio stones and pulling up ornamental onions — they do like to travel — I didn’t get very far with the planting. One mum. That’s it. But the fresh air was abundant, and I got to finger wave with my one-year-old neighbor and muddy my boots.

It’s a good thang!

So…

Pumpkin seeds. Are you for ’em or agin ’em?

Asking for a neighbor.

Here be Hump Day.

Be in the moment.
