Single Shot Monday: Chorus Line

You early birds got the coffee, for it is neither bright nor early as I am writing this post.

But it is Monday.

A different perspective on the canoes that I put up for Close Shot Friday.

They make me think of a chorus line.

Sometime Friday during the first day of WANACon, the viral crud ran over me like a snowvalanche. It wasn’t pretty, and I suspect it had been incubating for a while. However, I worked right through that Friday and Saturday, because WANACon is a writer’s conference force of nature, and I did not want to miss it in real time . Come Sunday morning, I was doing nothing but the couch boogie, clicking through episode after episode of Friday Night Lights on Netflix.

Friday Night Lights is one of my favorite television dramas. It ranks right up there with Buffy the Vampire Slayer for great storytelling. If you’ve watched either one of these programs, you’ve got to have a favorite character. Shout it out in the comments section. In Buffy, for me it was Spike. Complex and dark.

Monday tumbles in along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.

Me, too.
