Art + Shoes!
Holy Blahnik, Batman!
We visited the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto in early May to see the Manolo Blahnik The Art of Shoes Exhibit (May 16, 2018 – January 6, 2019). This is the only North American stop for this exhibit. Go. See.
I need those turquoise shoes with the cherry ankle straps in my life. Thank you.
So…
In my imagination, I always wear these shoes. They are the star of my daily wardrobe. They make me feel like a god-DESS.
In reality, I never rarely ever wear these shoes. They’re just one wobble away from an ankle sprain. Because… me.
I wear flats, kicks, flip-flops, boots, boots, boots, and wedges. And my fave… bare feet.
On occasion, I teeter out of the house on shoes such as these for a wedding/anniversary/schmooze-thing/date night/whatevs. And I do feel like a god-DESS.
Mostly, I get my Manolo Blahnik shoe fix through Carrie Bradshaw.
Just keeping it real.
What I do love is art in any form. And Manolo Blahnik is pure art.
GO.
SEE.
And Monday is in the house.
We’re in the work zone.

Note: While we were there, we took the opportunity to visit the rest of the museum. You should do the same.
