Irish toast — Sláinte mhaith! — Good health!

Irish Blessing —
May you always have…
Walls for winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire
Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart may desire.
The top o’ the mornin’ to you, and may this shamrock bring you good luck!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
That’s always been one of my favorites of the blessings. And hey, any day that starts with a pint, has to be a good one! There’s a lovely art to building one of those, which, like everything else Irish (except for the insane driving!) takes its own leisurely time. 🙂

Be still my heart! Thanks so much for dropping by, JoAnn. It’s lovely to have the real Irish deal weighing-in over here. lol I agree. It’s a beautiful blessing, which was why I wanted to share it.
Okay. Even I can’t do a pint first thing in the morning, but if you come across an Ode to Guinness, please share. 😉

Can’t do a pint first thing in the morning? I’m guessing all the Irish in you has been horribly diluted. Happy St. Patrick’s Day regardless. Thank you for the blessing. It’s lovely. Tea beside the fire I’m guessing the Irish know a thing or two about cold northern winds.

Keziah — lol. I’m what is known as a cheap drunk/cheap date. That is a whole other blog, but it might take a morning pint to blog it! 🙂
