…has finally arrived at a theater near me.
No, it’s not The Hunger Games.
It’s this:
Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt, Kristen Scott Thomas. Directed by Lasse Hallström. Hello! Love his work.

Date night is looking verra fine about now. Verra fine, indeed.
Got plans for the weekend?
I’m all ears.
My #FridayReads is Louise Penny’s STILL LIFE, a Chief Inspector Armand Gamache novel. The first, actually. You?
Oooo, I want to see that. I’m a big Ewan McGregor fan :swoon: How was it?

It was thoroughly satisfying. You have to suspend disbelief here and there, but McGregor/Blunt were such a marvelous combo for the dialogue and chemistry. I’ve had a great deal of admiration for Emily Blunt since The Adjustment Bureau. I assumed she was hired because she was an actor who could dance, but she spent several grueling months learning dance movement for the part. Huge props for that! And she was stunning. Ewan McGregor is so talented, as is Kristen Scott Thomas.
They were lined up 4 deep to see The Hunger Games.
Who doesn’t love a title — Salmon Fishing in the Yemen?
