In other news ~

I suspect the tomato plants are doing drugs. Chadwick Cherry meets with their dealer under cloak of darkness, then scrabbles up and down the garden doling out the nightly fix to Cherokee Purple, Constoluto Fiorentino, and Dr. Carolyn. Hence, all those scratchy, chattery noises I hear in the predawn hours.

Why do I think this?

Because Chadwick Cherry is over six feet tall, and the rest of the tribe aren’t far behind.
