Stumped.
Stumped, I tell you.
It’s Hump Day, and I have nothing to say.
Nothing.
Nuthin’.
Ever happened to you?
What do you do?
Do you just barrel through like I’m doing right now?
Do you call it a day?
Throw in the towel?
Hang up your hat?
Add your euphemism here.
Quit?
Quit is just harsh.
Quite.
We had a little cold snap overnight, and I think it snapped my brain. We’re back in sweats and windbreakers and hoodies. Eating grilled cheese sandwiches and thinking about roasts of beef.
The seedlings are shivering.
The Canada Geese are honking.
The birds are turning tail.
The chipmunks went down under.
Here’s what I’m going to do.
I’m going to sit and stare at this…
…vacantly, until I have an attitude adjustment.
Here be Hump Day.
Let’s just stare right over it.
Elen
I get you. A bit of a shock to the system… we were thinking we had summer and now back to this. The iced tea went back in the fridge and the kettle came out again!

Just so. I’m this [ ] close to turning the heat back on! I think the G-Man cheats and turns it on in the morning for a few mins. 😉

ooh, thanks for this. I must remember to bring in the flat of annuals – supposed to go down nero zero – nero was a typo, but I let it stay-o.

Hahaha — “nero”. Yes, I took mine in, too.

You’re very clever for not having anything to say! I hope my hydrangeas will bloom this year…..they’ve just become green.

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers. I’m looking to acquire some of the (dwarf) Bo-Bo Hydrangea this year. Thanks for the follow, Joan!

I covered all the plants last night in case of frost. There was a whole bunch of green coming up in one of last year’s pots. I peered closer and thought of you. Radishes!!!

Hahahaha. Yes, I covered some things, too. Nothing was harmed. Raspberry canes are looking healthy, Keziah!
