It just needs a clutch of tulips!
So…
Spring officially arrived on Sunday. Can I get an amen?
I walked by the spring wreath hanging on my office over the garage door and thought about throwing that sucker on the front door. Officially spring, right?
But…
Pretty dang cold. So I thought let’s just leave it for a few.
And then…
This morning’s weather report sitting in the middle of the Big Dell screen when I opened for business was calling for 1-3 inches of snow on Wednesday and 8-12 inches on Thursday.
Say what?
I think I am offended by that notion.
I know my croci and daffs are offended.
We’re just all in a pique over here.
You know you live in Canadaland when…
Yeah. That’s an iPhone shot that I put a little Glaze app on. Early March. It just needs a clutch of tulips.

Back in January I signed on for the A to Z Challenge and talked about it here. I can’t tell you how much fun I had with the 2015 challenge and have really looked forward to 2016. I’ve wrestled for weeks with this decision, but it’s just not going to happen. April has been designated painting month, and I’ll be doing a lot of painting projects involving the interior of this old casa. And when I’m not doing that, I’ll be readying the garden for gardening season. Seeds are already winging their way here from Cubit’s Seed Co. We’ll talk more about that later.
Not only will I not be participating in A to Z, I’ll be clawing back the April posts here from Monday – Friday to Mon/Wed/Fri. And I’m hoping that that is going to be realistic, not pie in the sky, thinking.
I has a sad.

We watched Home (2015 animated adventure, comedy) last night on Netflix. It was a good giggle. Jim Parsons as the voice of Oh. Ermahgerd. And the dancing. I now understand. I have the dancing moves of a Boov. (Video Alert!) All has become clear. Have to give a shout out to Rihanna as the voice of Gratuity ‘Tip’ Tucci too.
Go on. Channel your inner kid and see it. You might discover your Boov moves.
And Monday is in the house.
Tell me how you marked the first day of spring.
Now. Now. Now.

A-MEN! You sent that weather our way. We got it today – making our March Break school holiday a little bit longer. Timing is everything. 😉

Hi Elen, our first day of Spring here in Ireland is Feb 1.
Sorry to hear about your snow. We are well ahead now with spring flowers and even a hint of Summer.
It’s all ahead of you! XX

We’ll see if we actually get that snow. I’m in denial. 😉

Good luck with the A-Z. I’m doing it too. My 2nd year of it. Same theme as last year. We loved Home. It was funny! We got some snow, too. Yay Canada spring! Looks like January out there. Actually, it was warmer on Christmas day than it on this “spring” day.

Hahahaha. Read again. I’ve had to opt out of A to Z Challenge this year. But since I follow several challengers from last year, I won’t be missing what you have to say. They’ve dialed down the snow predictions for this week. I’m not unhappy about that. I have a thing for animated movies. It’s a good thing. Cheers!

Apparently I have the comprehension skills of a newt. 🙂 As soon as I read hat you had signed on in Jan. For the A-Z challenge my brain just glossed over the rest. You can live vicariously. There are plenty of bloggers doing it. The only movies I watch these days are animated. I hope Zootopia is still out next weekend so we can take the kids 🙂

Hee! Yes, that will have to do. I’m good with it. House needs paintin’! Zootopia is on my list.

Sorry about the snow. But eventually spring will come. But do you think anybody has told Mother Nature about the official spring date? Maybe that’s why she isn’t showing up in her new costume…
