Fridaaaaay!… I’ll Take Your Answers

I feel a train trip coming on. Who’s with me? Anybody else out there have a love affair with train travel? I’m hoping to sneak in a quick train trip to Ottawa for the Tulip Festival in May. Even if it’s just for a couple of days. I need an Ottawa fix. I’ll be needing to scrub the paint out of my hair. I need a date.

I feel like a new woman.

Three nights of uninterrupted sleep will do that for a gal. The thunder shirt seems to be working for the G-Pup for generalized anxiety. She actually likes it. Dare I speak of love? I’m considering one for myself. Just kidding. Mebbe. It will be interesting to see what happens when we have an actual thunderstorm. Most likely it will take medication — better living through chemistry — coupled with the thunder shirt. It’s a bundling thing. Anybody else using one of these with their pet a family member?

So.

I’m in the Johnny Nash ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ zone. (1972) I’m kinda crushin’ at the moment.

Thank you, Mr. Nash. I’ve belted this out in the shower more than once. Can’t even come close. 1:33… That is all.

    • I did not see that cupcake coming, Eric! Luke Skywalker… good one. The thunder shirt has worked really well for generalized anxiety. I’ve had 6 uninterrupted nights of sleep. I expect we will be adding the usual doggy valium to the mix when we get a good thunderstorm. She’s 11 and quite sensitive to everything now. Yes, I’m planning on showing pics of the painting project. I just haven’t had a chance to edit images or write posts, but they will come.

  6. Wine in winter, beer in summer. Lake (ocean); City or country? (live in one, take vacations in the other.)
    NO skates please, we value our bones. Donut. No Roller coaster or Ferris wheel, I value my stomach contents.
